Pediatric Services
Our two nurse practitioners, Renae Callahan FNP and Maureen Eisenberg PNP, both have a long history of taking care of the pediatric population, as they both were initially pediatric nurses. After receiving their nurse practitioner degrees, they have continued to invest in specialized training to help children with complex medical issues.
Renae Callahan’s specialty is diagnosing and treating children with PANS/PANDAS. She has received additional training from the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), A4M, and continues to study under Dr. Nancy O’Hara, a renowned PANS/PANDAS expert.
She also works with pediatric patients who have digestive issues, food sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies, eczema and other skin conditions, mood disorders/ behavioral issues, and sleep issues.
Maureen Eisenberg heads The Autism Spectrum Practice at Van Zant Medical Group.
Maureen has been fellowship trained through the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS) to take care of neurodivergent children, including those with ASD, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and mood imbalance.
