I am grateful for Dr. Van Zant. I came with a case of daily hives. She took an extensive medical history and ran a comprehensive set of tests to identify the root cause(s) of my hives (and other medical issues I had experienced over the years). She gave me options that included herbal supplements or traditional drugs. Her guidance is focused on repair of your body’s defense systems vs. suppressing symptoms. I so wish more in the medical field took her approach to improving health.

I started seeing Dr. Van Zant after being diagnosed with Lyme disease in its "chronic" or late stages that had impacted my ability to work a full-time job and live independently. She takes the time to listen and truly understand your symptoms. Dr. Van Zant is incredibly knowledgeable on how to treat tick borne infections, support the body, and restore immune system dysfunction tick borne diseases can cause. I am incredibly grateful that after 3 years of being treated by Dr. Van Zant, I am a normally functioning adult who works full time, lives independently, and lives an active lifestyle.

I have been to many, many doctors over the years--none could solve any of the physical problems I was having. Part of it is that they did not run tests that provided any help. Dr. Van Zant ordered tests that had never been done and that resulted in her finding answers to some of my problems. I have had feelings of abandonment from the medical community in our area. But, not with Dr. Van Zant. I trust her judgement and feel safer in her care. I have been very happy with her office as a whole. Great staff!

I spent six years going to various doctors and specialists trying to figure out what was causing my digestive issues, only to be dismissed by each one because they couldn’t find anything obviously wrong. When I finally visited Dr. Van Zant, she took the time to help me figure out that I had indeed been living with a parasite for those six years. Dr. Van Zant gave me my quality of life back, I cannot recommend her practice enough.

My family is so grateful for VanZant Medical Group. We have had multiple complex needs, such as PANS/PANDAS, mold, and Lyme and coinfections. Renae Callahan has been our provider and has used her extensive and unique knowledge about these issues to help my family members make significant progress. For me, the level of support and time taken in appointments to truly hear and address our unique needs has been invaluable. Having a provider who looks at the individual family members as a whole and takes the time to study the full picture continues to be instrumental in our healing. The clinic staff are compassionate, helpful, and responsive, as well, making communication and the whole process so smooth. We are so fortunate to have a clinic with this highly specialized expertise in our vicinity.

Anyone who has a child with PANDAS can tell you that you can spend hours researching on your own and not find much information. We brought our son to nurse practitioner, Renae Callahan shortly after his diagnosis. Renae is extremely knowledgeable about PANDAS and pediatric patients. Her calm demeanor was greatly needed, while I sat there crying, explaining what had been going on with our son. Renae ordered labs and came up with a plan to best help our son. Every appointment we had with her she ended by asking what questions she could answer. My concerns were heard at every appointment and I never felt rushed. I walked away feeling hopeful instead of defeated. God truly had a hand in leading us to the Van Zant office to connect with Renae. We are forever grateful for Van Zant Medical Group.

I have been chronically ill throughout my adult life. I have been to numerous physicians / facilities including Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massassuchetts and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Despite this, I was never correctly diagnosed or treated. Upon contacting Dr. Van Zant, she immediately brought me on as a patient and within a short amount of time diagnosed my conditions and started me on a treatment plan. I have now been with her for 3 years. Unlike other physicians that quickly look at your medical record while in the examination room and then hurry through the appointment, Dr. Van Zant knows my history at the beginning of every appointment and spends a remarkable amount of time during each visit discussing how I am doing and what the next steps going forward should be. Her breath of knowledge is amazing and I have never felt in better hands. I truly cannot image where I would be today if not for Dr. Van Zant's incredible care.

I have been a patient of Dr. VanZant since 2014. That year it was discovered that I had Lymes Disease! I knew I had something because I had been sick most of my adult life, but no one had ever figured out what it was. She helped me get past it with prescription medicine, homeopathic medicine, herbs diet and even prayer! It’s 2024 and I can eat better, sleep better, live better. Her staff is amazing! They are so helpful and kind . I still depend on Dr. V and her staff if I have an issue that needs to be answered. The office works well with other Drs also so that has been an added plus when it comes to my medications and other questions.

I love Dr. Van Zant! She has done so much to assist me with my good health for years! I am so grateful for her! I love how she works so hard to get to the root of any health issue. She not only cares about my health, she cares about me. I love that we share the same faith. She has been such a blessing in my life! Her staff is great as well.
